Project Overview
The Metropolitan Tower stands as a testament to sustainable urban development, rising 45 stories above the downtown business district. This mixed-use development combines premium office space, luxury residences, and ground-floor retail, all designed to achieve the highest standards of environmental performance.
The Challenge
Designing a high-rise structure that could achieve LEED Platinum certification while meeting the diverse needs of commercial, residential, and retail occupants presented unique engineering challenges. The tight urban site required careful coordination with existing infrastructure and neighboring buildings.
Our Solution
We developed an integrated design approach that maximized natural light, incorporated high-efficiency building systems, and utilized recycled and locally-sourced materials. Advanced facade engineering reduced energy consumption by 50% compared to conventional buildings. Rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling systems were integrated throughout.
